Prof. K.V.Natarajan was born in 1942 at Kurinjippai Village, Gingee Taluk. His father, K.Venugopal was a teacher. K.V.Natarajan is a teacher in Engineering having B.E. & M.Sc. (Engg.) degrees. He underwent training in Education in United Kingdom. He worked as Junior Engineer in Tamilnadu PWD for one year immediately after the completion of B.E. in Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy. He resorted to teaching after completing M.Sc. (Engg.) in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy.
His teaching career started at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He served in institutions like National Institute of Technology, Tiruchy, National Institute for Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai before he became the Principal, Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, Melmaruvathur.
