Pre-University

K.V. Natarajan pursued his Pre-University at Prestigious Loyola College in Chennai. He scored Distinction in 3 subjects out of 4 subjects in part III. At that time, Distinction (D grade) was the highest grade. He completed Pre-University in April 1959 in FIRST class.

B.E and M.sc (Engg.)

K.V. Natarajan opted to study Engineering and joined college of Engineering, Guindy. He completed the five year B.E Degree course in civil Engineering in January 1964 in FIRST class.
He served as Junior Engineer in PWD for one year. He joined college of Engineering, Guindy in 1965 and completed M.sc (Engg.) in April 1967 in FIRST class.

Stint at IIT (Madras)

K.V. Natarajan joined Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as a Technical Teacher Trainee. The programme was for one year and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Union Government.

Experience in NIT (Tiruchy)

K.V. Natarajan joined Regional Engineering college (now called National Institute of Technology), Tiruchy and served there for 3 ½ years.

Experience in NITTTR (Madras)

K.V. Natarajan then shifted to National Institute of Technical Teacher Training Research, Madras. He was the Head of Andhra Pradesh State Region in the capacity of professor.
During his stint at NITTTR, he was deputed to undergo a training programme in Education at Huddersfield College of Education, U.K.

Principal of Adhiparasakthi Engineering college

Prof. K.V. Natarajan joined Adhiparasakthi Engineering Collelge, Memaruvathur as Principal in the year 1984. As Principal of the college, he had a tremendous job of developing and managing the college. He left the college in 1988.

The first two books are the first books , prepared as per the specifications stipulated by the relevant Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The fourth book follows SI units .

A Textbook of Engineering Graphics and Basic Civil Engineering were Prescribed as TEXTBOOKS by Madras University and the book “ A Textbook of Engineering Graphics” has been prescribed as TEXTBOOK by Anna University.

Prof. K.V. Natarajan used to handle English Grammar for the students in his school. The comprehensive teaching materials prepared by him in this regard prompted him to bring out a book tilted“ Simplified English Grammar for Everyone”.
